They looked at way too many books, raided the playroom for a few "nightlights" (light-sabers, an airplane with a light on top and a Tinkerbell toy from Disneyland), and played together for about an hour. When it started to get way past their bedtime and I could hear footsteps running from Levi's room to the playroom for more toys - I knew it was time to say goodnight.
I gave Eden the option of staying in Levi's room to sleep or going back to her room. She decided to go to her room, but a few minutes later I heard her door open and this is what I found when I went to tuck them in:
This is huge for us! More than anything Scott and I want Eden and Levi to share special little moments like this one and form a relationship that will happily last a lifetime. To me, there just isn't anything more precious in life than seeing my kids loving each other. What an amazing tiny treasure.
